R.I.P Richard Joseph Giordano (1932-2010)
Dick Giordano was one of the most influential artist and editors in the comic industry, who most of you will know for his inks on Neal Adams work over at DC ( Batman, Green Lantern & Green Arrow, Superman vs Ali )
One of the greats has passed on and he will be missed.

Bang Zoom!

Here's an interesting piece of art that probably would have never seen the light of day if not for the artist, Kevin Nowlan whos best known for his work in super hero and horror comics.
In the late 80's, Kevin was contacted by a publishing company working on a Honeymooners book and they wanted to take some unused scripts and make them into a 4 or 5 page comic for that book.
The artist, Mr. Kevin Nowlan.
The book deal fell through but Mr. Nowlan was kind enough to share this exercise sketch with the internet and now I'm sharing it with you all.

Miyazaki Porco Rosso watercoler pages
I love Hayao Miyazaki's movies, from Castle of Cagliostro to his latest Ponyo, I think I've seen and enjoyed them all.
If you've never seen his work, treat your eyes to something wonderful and take a look at the man's watercolor and ink comic pages, they're just a joy to look at.
Here are some rare PORCO ROSSO pages published in english Animerica magazine about 16 years ago.

SUPER STREET FIGHTER 4 : ALL THE ULTRA MOVES
Here's a nifty little video that has a mock character select screen that actually links to youtube videos showing the Ultra moves for each character that you select.
Pretty cool idea, and it's fun to check out our favorite characters new super move!

NEW TRAILER IRONMAN 2
BANANAS!
I just hope that the studio isn't blowing their load revealing so much of the special effects in the trailer.
Design wise, the portable Iron man armor / suit case looks like a nod to John Romita Jr.
So far, I am pleased with what I've seen.
